Bright Wildflower Wedding Flowers

Chelsea and Matt came to us with a vision of colourful, wildflower inspired wedding flowers that were playful, romantic, and perfectly suited for a wedding in the Rocky Mountains. We love bringing unique floral ideas to life, and we were more than happy to design something that felt both personal and beautifully organic. Using their colourful bridesmaid dresses as our design inspiration, our Calgary wedding floral team was thrilled to bring their dream to life.

Their late August celebration took place at the stunning Castle Mountain Ski Resort in the Canadian Rocky Mountains and was photographed by the talented Connor Esau Weddings. With the seasons beginning to shift from summer to early fall, we designed a slightly muted wildflower bouquet that harmonized with the burnt oranges, soft mauves, and earthy tones of the bridal party’s dresses.

To create a whimsical and romantic wildflower aesthetic, we chose orange dahlias as the focal blooms for our bouquets. These added a bright pop of colour while echoing the early autumn palette of the surrounding mountains. The bouquets also featured pale blue delphiniums, peach carnations, white cosmos, peach ranunculus, white scabiosa, buttery yellow stock, white yarrow, and soft pink Quicksand roses for a whimsical and feminine feel.
